Cornerstone was formed in 1993 to provide an all-Alaskan general contracting option for the state’s leading organizations. Since then, the company has grown into a trusted industry leader specializing in collaborative project delivery for new commercial construction and precision renovation projects across education, government, healthcare, housing, and industrial sectors, from Anchorage to remote communities throughout Alaska.

Cornerstone is committed to a comprehensive safety management approach to achieve safe performance through leadership, training, incentives, and accountability. The well-being of our project teams and subcontracting partners is fundamental to our success.

Cornerstone leadership focuses on nurturing a culture of safety at all levels, assisting operations management with resources, training, planning, implementation, and site-specific safety programs.

Our award-winning Safety program is actively designed and monitored by a dedicated Safety Manager. Cornerstone has received outstanding recognition for its safety performance, including:

Subcontractors

Cornerstone works with some of the best subcontractors, disciplinary specialists, and vendors in the business. If you’re new to our market and would like to be added to our bidders list, please fill out and submit our subcontractors & suppliers pre-qualification questionnaire.
Supporting documentation requested:

Signed W9 (available at www.IRS.gov) – requested but not required
OSHA Forms 300A and 300 (omit names) for the past three years – requested but not required
EMR verification from your worker’s compensation provider for the past three years – requested but not required
Safety Manual (reference only)
Professional license certificates (general contractor, engineer, etc.), if applicable
Financial statements for your most recent fiscal year-end – requested but not required
